Sergio Aguero was rampant as he scored five goals in just 20 minutes forManchester City in their Premier League clash with Newcastle United at the Etihad Stadium.
Aguero did not score until three minutes before half-time but had his hat-trick just five minutes after the restart.
The Argentine then proceeded to add further goals on the hour mark and in the 62nd minute to equal the Premier League record of five goals with Dimitar Berbatov, Jermain Defoe, Andy Cole and Alan Shearer.
Defoe was the previous fastest in scoring his five – he required 36 minutes.
Three minutes after scoring his fifth, Aguero was withdraw by Manuel Pellegrini to a standing ovation with City winning 6-1.
