Champions League Group D, JuventusStadium, Turin. Juventus 2 (Morata 41, Zaza 87) Sevilla 0
Alvaro Morata netted for the fifth consecutive Champions League match as Juventus beat Sevilla 2-0 in Turin to go top of Group D.
La Vecchia Signora, who have won just one of their opening five Serie A matches this season, put aside their domestic troubles with a convincing victory over the Europa League holders.
Morata became the first Spaniard, and the first Juve player since Alessandro de Piero, to net in five straight Champions League matches when he outjumped two defenders to head home Andrea Barzagli's cross from the right on 41 minutes.
Juventus substitute Simone Zaza then wrapped up the points three minutes from the end with a cool finish on his Champions League debut, following a fast counter-attack and a clever pass from Paulo Dybala from inside the centre circle.
Juventus next face bottom side Borussia Monchengladbach in back-to-back fixtures, while second-placed Sevilla will meet Manchester City home and away in matchdays three and four.

KEY STATS
Juventus are unbeaten in their last ten Champions League games at the Juventus Stadium (W7 D3), with their last defeat coming against Bayern Munich in April 2013.
Tonight was only the third time Sevilla have failed to score in 18 Champions League games.
TALKING POINT: Is Alvaro Morata the real deal?
Morata eventually worked his way into Carlo Ancelotti's plans at Real Madrid, and was a Champions League winner with the club in 2014, but the 22-year-old is starting to revel in his star billing at Juventus following Carlos Tevez's exit during the summer. He has now scored in his last five Champions League appearances, and he seems to have the lot - good in the air, quick across the ground and able to score the odd screamer from outside the area, as he did against Manchester City on matchday one.
MAN OF THE MATCH
Paulo Dybala (Juventus)
The Argentine, who signed for the Italian champions over the summer from Palermo in a €32 million deal, wears the 21 shirt vacated by Andrea Pirlo following the 36-year-old's summer move to New York City FC. Dybala's performance against Sevilla was more street-style and scrappier than a Pirlo masterclass, but the 21-year-old was at the heart of many of Juve's best moves against the Spanish side.
