Tottenham Hotspur have parted company with their Technical Director Franco Baldini.
The Italian joined Spurs in June 2013, leaving his job as General Director at AS Roma.
In a statement on the club's website it continues: "He leaves us now to spend time outside of club football. Wee wish him all the best for the future."
Baldini, who was Fabio Capello's assistant manager during his time with England, was influential in the summer of 2013 when he oversaw the departures of Steven Caulker, Tom Huddlestone, Clint Dempsey, Scott Parker, and, most notably, Gareth Bale.
He was thought to be held responsible for the raft of signings that came in, including Paulinho, Nacer Chadli,Etienne Capoue, Roberto Soldado, Vlad Chirches, Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela. Only Chadli, Eriksen and Lamela remain at the club.
